Maintained
Maintained, after three years of operation, has been sunset from free public use. If you are interested in self-hosting Maintained for you or your organization, all components are still freely available as open source software under ISL license on the GitHub organization. Maintained was originally hosted at https://maintained.cc. Tai, the custom written badging engine for Maintained, operates under read-only data mode for existing users until August 2023.
If you're interested in what the app looks like, there's an image gallery below.
Features
- Quick sign in with GitHub: no additional accounts needed
- Edit badge content from the dashboard and have it update in real time
- Create badges with brand or Bootstrap icons
- Create badges with more than two fields, for badges with many icons
- Make any existing plaintext API endpoint into a badge
Self-Hosting
The Maintained software stack is made up of four components that need to be hosted together:
- Maintained: Web Frontend & Dashboard
- Maintained API: API Backend (requires MongoDB instance)
- Maintained ID: OAuth Provider
- Tai: Badging Engine
If you are only looking for an SVG badging engine, Tai is available as a standalone Deno package.
